Inside Soho House Mexico City’s pre-opening dinner
In anticipation of our first Latin American House opening this month, we hosted a celebratory evening with local members and creatives in the new space

Our new Latin American House opening, Soho House Mexico City, is just around the corner, bringing three bars – one specifically for tequila – an outside courtyard with a pool, and four bedrooms to Colonia Juárez.
In honour of our Soho House debut in South America, we hosted a dinner to welcome the Committee members who will bring life to the Mexican outpost. Based inside the House, 40 guests arrived to dine (and get a sneaky preview) in the pool house, a glass greenhouse-style bar area in the middle of the historic property. Committee member and owner of Mexico City restaurant Em, chef Lucho Martínez, created a special menu, accompanied by red and white Mexican wine, along with a gifted bottle of Maestro Dobel to take home.
Later, guests sipped on tequila-based cocktails and Montblanc gave every member a Soho House coffee table book with a personalisation of their name written in a calligraphical font. Plus, after dinner the Mexico-based jazz band Orestes Gomez performed an intimate set to end the night.
